Benbaun - Highest peak of the 12 Bens & County Galway top

Benbaun at 729m is the highest peak of the 12 Bens. It is also the highest point in County Galway.

The 12 Bens are alpine like and consist of mainly quartize rock which is evident on Benbaun which on a bright day glistens and appears almost white.
