About
Eagles Rock is Ireland's highest free standing tower at 330m. Located in the breathtaking Dartry Mountains, it is one of the most iconic landmarks in the Glenade Valley and North Leitrim.
Truskmore is the highest mountain in Dartry range at 647m and is marked by a Trig Pillar. It straddles the country boundaries of Sligo and Leitrim. The national broadcaster RTE has its communications mast for the region at the summit.
EXPERIENCE
This full day hike is recommend for it scenery, nature. flora and fauna. A good level of fitness it essential so as to ensure you maximize your day on the hills to its fullest. The hike will appeal to regular hill walkers who value the experience and knowledge of a local guide in unfamiliar terrain and surroundings.

Equipment Required
Good waterproof boots and waterproof clothing are essential – without these items you will regrettably be excluded from participating; walking trousers are advised or comfortable athletic clothing, (no jeans please); spare warm layer; hat and gloves; lunch and/or snacks; water or juice drink, (1.5 litres); small rucksack to carry it all in.
