Welcome to the Maumturks.

The Maumturk mountain range lies in the heart of Connemara and are among the toughest and most challenging in Ireland.
They are renown for their stunning mountain scenery and are highly recommended

During this classic hike you will climb 3 summits, Binn Chaonaigh 633m. Binn Idir an Da Log southeast top 659m, and Binn Idir an da Log 702m.
Binn idir an da log literally mean *the peak between two hollows" and is the highest peak in the entire Maumturk range

We will start our hike at the start of the Mam Ean pilgrimage pass car park.

This is classed as a HARD hike. Good level of fitness is required

Meet at 9:30am

Equipment required:
Good waterproof boots and waterproof clothing are essential; hiking trousers are advised, (no jeans please); spare warm layer; hat and gloves; lunch and/or snacks; water or juice drink, (Minimum 1.5 litres); small rucksack to carry it all in.
